Beautiful and convincing botanical cosmetics for people with eye for beauty
The first shop of Aesop Kyoto was opened in September 2013 and this second branch was opened the following December on Kawaramachi Street. The building was designed in collaboration with an architect office, “TORAFU Architects” who also designed their first shop. It matches the area which was one of the key locations in Japan’s Meiji Restoration period of the late 19th century. Aesop was originally founded in Melbourne, Australia in 1987 and they are continually improving their cosmetics and daily life products for better personal care. Their philosophy to pursue better products so as to enhance the beauty and comfort of their customers corresponds to the way people in Kyoto cherish their life.
