Limited-time only pancakes served in a Japanese sweet café
Baikodo’s building looks like a typically classical Japanese sweet café and so it is. However, one of their most popular menu items are the pancakes, available only from September to April. Particularly recommended is the Ogura Cream Pancake, topped with a generous amount of sweet red bean paste using beans from Tokachi (Hokkaido) and ice cream. There are nine pancake options to choose from, including the Ogura Butter Pancake which uses a good amount of fine butter. Parfaits and shaved ices always satisfy diners during summer months. They also have ice cream cones to take-away.
