Enjoy chef’s original creativity with fine wine options

Opened in October 2011, the owner and chef of Bistro Gin renovated his grandfather’s house into a nice bistro after working as a chef for many years in Tokyo.  The exterior looks just like an ordinary residence so at first it might not be recognized as a restaurant.  The chef wishes to provide good bistro style food in a casual atmosphere.  One of his specialty dishes is a smoked foie gras served as an appetizer in the course.  He soaks foie gras in red wine for a few days in order to make it even more savory.  Another unique dish is duck meat confited in Japanese sake lee for additional flavor.  Their wide-ranging wine list is worth checking comprising of wines mainly from France as well as Italy and Spain.  A glass of wine is from 750 yen and bottle from 3,000 yen.
