High-class French cuisine with elegance in a formal western residence
Chorakukan is a Western-style building established in 1909 and is designated as the city’s tangible cultural property. As a guesthouse, it welcomed and entertained important guests from around Japan and the world for 100 years. Le Chene is an authentic French restaurant on the first floor of such a special building. Fresh vegetables from Kyoto and Shiga, king crabs, black truffles, and many other luxurious ingredients are lavishly used in the course. Every dish is served with heart in a Victorian style dining room furnished with elegant décor.
