Providing “Better Sleep” – Specialist of bed items

Daitou Shingu Kogyo started their business in manufacturing and sales of futon (Japanese bedding) in the Mibu area of Kyoto City.  Today, they produce modern interior items and clothing.  Some of their staff members are qualified as “Sleep Instructors” who can provide advice for better quality sleep.  On the other hand, they respect and focus on traditional Japanese bleached cotton techniques.  The Three-layered Baby Robe (50-70cm; 6,300 yen) and Baby Bib (1,575 yen) are both made with soft gauze based on traditional Kyoto-style techniques.  They don’t use general fabric softener and dye chemicals but only use natural materials such as starch glue from Okinawa Prefecture.  Their gentle and safe items make a great gift for a newborn baby.  Daitou Shingu Kogyo’s gauze is extremely soft and lets air pass through to gently touch the baby’s delicate skin.
