New style Kyoto cuisine incorporating Western ingredients and condiments
The owner and chef of Fujiwara has working experience as a chef in Paris, Australia and China. Based on his these international experiences, he offers original Japanese cuisine combined with Western ingredients and condiments as an added accent. In addition to typical meat such as beef, pork, chicken and duck, seasonal specialties, for example, crab and blowfish for winter, adorn the table. Diners can choose some of the dishes in the course and make their own course as they like. At the counter seats, people enjoy just a few of their favorite a la carte items along with fine Japanese sake. Fujiwara flexibly accepts every diner’s preference and choices. Geiko and maiko can be arranged upon request.
