Experience true Kyoto cuisine and elegant dance by maiko for a reasonable price

Gion Hatanaka is a traditional style Japanese inn located by the south gate of Yasaka Jinja Shrine.  Kodai-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kennin-ji Temple and many other famous tourist sites are within walking distance, however, Hatanaka offers a tranquil ambience surrounded by trees.  Rooms are based on classical Sukiya-style design.  Guest can enjoy a kaiseki course full of seasonal Kyoto vegetables overlooking a fine view through the window.  Not only the taste but also the beautifully arranged presentation on each plate will delight diners.  The special point of dining at Hatanaka is that they regularly arrange a great package plan so guests can experience both authentic Kyoto cuisine and an elegant dance performance by maiko (apprentice geisha) at a reasonable price.  Both Japanese and foreign guests come more than once to enjoy this special occasion.
