Creative Japanese dishes filled with surprise and fun

Horibe is situated on the historical and atmospheric Shinbashi Street.  The owner and chef, Tsutomu Horibe, chose this location because he loves the area where he spent his young age training himself to be a Japanese chef.  Horibe’s long-term regular customers can always be found in the restaurant enjoying both conversation with the cook and of course, his dishes.  “Fun and delicious” and “thorough care for every dish.”  Following his cooking motto, Horibe serves only a course menu both for lunch and dinner.  The menu is changed monthly but the last dish is always the special kama-meshi (rice with toppings cooked in iron pot).  The rice becomes very savory as it absorbs the broth of the seasonal toppings.  Many of Horibe’s fans love this kama-meshi.
