Western and Japanese fusion style seasonal feast with quality ingredients
This bistro, loved by their gourmet customers including geiko (female entertainer in Kyoto) and maiko (geiko apprentice), was established more than a decade ago. The bistro responds to each customer’s requests even including rather selfish ones. A variety of items using high quality seasonal ingredients are available such as Shinshu Murasawa Beef; the A5 ranked beef from Nagano prefecture for steak, Teppan-yaki style dishes, abalone gratin, grilled tile fish and a Korean style spicy hot pot. The beautiful old building housing the restaurant used to be an ochaya (an establishment where patrons are entertained by geiko). The counter-style table looks over a small courtyard and private rooms are also available for those who wish to spend a luxurious time. The bistro has variety of alcoholic drinks as well as their delicious food items making the place also suitable for one of the destinations during a night of bar hopping.
