Seasons of Kyoto represented by delicate cooking skills
Gion Tanimoto is situated in the historical and elegant Gion area. Some people might hesitate to try a classical Japanese restaurant in Gion due to the area’s formality and high-level reputation. However, Tanimoto is not that kind of establishment at all. As soon as you are welcomed by the warm smile of the owner and chef, Yoshiharu Tanimoto, you will feel relaxed and start enjoying his authentic Kyoto style dishes. Tanimoto deeply respects the seasonal tastes in his cooking as well as when choosing the ingredients and tableware. Every dish reflects a different beauty achieved by his careful and experienced cooking skills which attract both local and tourists from afar. The course menu is from 8,000 yen which is very reasonable.
