Refreshing scent and taste stimulating all five senses
Hararyoukaku has produced fine spices for 300 year and their spices have been offered to the imperial family. They have preserved the traditional roasting and blending methods of spices for generations. One of the representative items is “Kuro Shichimi (Black Seven Spices)” which blends white sesame, chili pepper, dried sea weed, poppy seeds, black sesame and hempseeds (left photo: in the bamboo container, 1,260 yen for 12 g). The soothing aroma and unique spiciness will suffuse your senses. “Kona Sansho (Powdered Japanese Pepper) ” (right photo: in the bamboo container, 1,260 yen for 12 g) has a refreshing scent that only finest quality Japanese pepper can achieve. Just a few sprinkles of their spice on your dish will give it a completely different taste and aroma.
