Higashiyama Garden opened in the autumn of 2012 in the major tourist area of Kyoto near Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sannei-zaka Street. The stylish interior combines the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto and contemporary design. Dishes served here are original Italian and French cuisine using Japanese ingredients. Seafood from the Japan Sea, quality beef from Tajima, and fresh locally grown vegetables of Kyoto are transformed into novel and tasty dishes by the chef’s sense and skills. They flexibly accept the preferences of each diner or add a playful arrangement upon request. Diners can enjoy watching the chef’s cooking skills in the open kitchen.
