Sit back by the fireplace in the room after dinner
The Hotel Chorakukan offers accommodation in six rooms, each of which has its own fireplace and Jacuzzi. The same named Western-style building from the Meiji period (1868-1912) stands just next to the hotel. Their French restaurant is set in a lavish Western-style room where diners can enjoy excellent dishes using seasonal ingredients. Particularly popular is their tarte tatin (pastry) served in winter. There is also an Italian restaurant whose dishes include a variety of Kyoto vegetables. The member’s lounge will serve special nightcaps.
