Delicious sausages like art pieces, made by the owner with artistic talent
Kawakitaya offers delicious homemade sausages. The owner went to Europe when he was in his 20s to become a painter and while there discovered delicious authentic sausages, which he learned how to make on his own. Salsiccia (Italy), Toulouse (France), Chorizo (Mexico) and Merguez (North Africa) are some examples of their items, which might make you wonder if you are still in Japan. They have a lot of foreign customers as their regulars that attests to the quality of their products. Some customer even leave their phone number saying “Please let me know when it is ready”, the owner says. Homemade ham and rillettes (French pork paté) are also available. You might feel jealous of the people living in their neighborhood.
