Nostalgic Japanese inn managed by a female owner
The owner of Kazariya is Ms. Ryoko Kamisaka, an experienced overseas traveler. Based on her experiences, she started to wish to open a guesthouse in Kyoto where single female guest can stay safely and comfortably. She found a nice retro building which used to be a medicine store and achieved her dream. The rooms are very much in the Japanese style and shared spaces are furnished with antique furniture and modern interior items. The warm and gentle hospitality of the female owner permeates the inn.
