Taste of Sri Lanka and Kyoto passed on from mother to daughter – Choose your favorite spice level
Ms.kazue Oishi opened a café in 1966. One of the part-time workers was from Sri Lanka and kazue created her own original curry recipe by getting ideas from Sri Lankan style curry. Her beef curry became popular among local people as the “true curry taste.” Today, the preparation has been taken over by Kazue’s daughter. Almost all customers come here especially for this delicious dish made by blending 10 kinds of spices, roasting them, and then adding them to the simmering onion and beef. There are five levels of spiciness, so choose and try your favorite spice level. Essentially, the curry is light early in the day and gets thicker as time goes by and it cooks for longer. How about trying both and comparing the taste?
