Block print arts depicting seasonal colors
Kogei Hanase is a group of artists based in a rural northern area of Kyoto called Hanase. They create miscellaneous goods, bowls, plates and interior decoration items that will add a pleasant atmosphere to your room. One of the items is a paper-made box with block print decoration. Each box has gentle seasonal designs created by block prints. Some have black beans coated with chocolate and sugar candy inside so they are a good choice as a small gift for someone. Mini envelopes (from 504 yen) exhibit a wide range of cute designs so take time to pick one or more while discovering your favorite design.
