Learn basic knowledge of flower arrangement from the head master
Ikebana Misyo-ryu Sasaoka provides a trial lesson of moribana (flower arrangement in a built-up style) for tourists. You may be able to learn directly from the school head on Mondays and Saturdays if he is available. Also he gives lectures about basic knowledge on “Ikabana” and “the law of beauty”, and then students can arrange flowers by themselves. “Whatever it is, once you master the basics, you can arrange it in your own style,” Mr. Ryuho Sasaoka, the 3rd head master, says.
