Feel and taste Kyoto’s natural spring water from breakfast to spa
About 5 minutes by car from JR Kyoto Station will bring you to the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto, just near Shijo subway station on the Karasuma Line. The location is very attractive, but that is not all, of course. Natural spring water from just under the hotel premises is used for both the drinking and bath water. The water comes from the same channel that runs under the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Shimogamo Jinja Shrine whose quality is ranked as the best in Kyoto (and is proven to be safe for drinking by water quality test). Not only is it soft and rich in minerals that are good for the body but the broth for Japanese dishes have more depth and rice is softer from using this water. Not only the hotel guests but also local Kyoto people often come here to enjoy their dishes.
