Genius talent for creating new dishes and tastes
“All I wish for is a new idea of cooking that other chefs can’t copy,” the owner and chef, Atsushi Ogami, says. Many of Ogami’s dishes attest his words as they are very unique and even mysterious. When served, you will not be able to tell or imagine what the dish tastes like and what the ingredients are. Then, the first taste will create a sensation and bring a smile; it’s like solving a riddle of deliciousness. Diners must not miss appreciating the fine ceramic wares used for serving Ogami’s seasonal dishes which are all selected personally based on his unique artistic sense. What he takes most care of in his cooking is to choose a new combination of ingredients in one dish. “People always like to try new dishes,” he says. Even after 17 years since he opened his restaurant, Ogami has never failed to delight his customer by serving new dishes and tastes.
