    Osteria Coccinella is particularly popular among women.  The retro-modern interior in a renovated traditional machiya townhouse is fancy and comfortable.  Chef Masahiko Moriyama says, “My cooking style is very simple but I take special care and time to choose ingredients and think deeply how best to prepare them.”   For example, he adds jasmine and chamomile to simmered innards so as the meaty smell is diminished.  He also adjusts the serving size to match your appetite.  Such an individual sensitivity attracts especially female fans to his restaurant.
