    Full of Maizuru’s specialties

    The chef decides on the menu as he receives vegetables from farms and seafood from the port in Maizuru every morning.  He wishes to use ingredients from Maizuru, his birthplace, as much as possible.  He even closes the restaurant if he can’t get enough ingredients to satisfy his strict standard for freshness and quality.  Dishes served at Takeuchi will never disappoint.  “I hope our customers can relax and enjoy our dishes as much as they want, as if they forgot about time.”  Exactly as the chef hopes, diners enjoy his dishes and stay there for some hours.  The chef and his wife’s hospitable service and smiles are another reason for diners staying longer.
