Enjoy lunch using seasonal vegetables with your five senses
Ristorante 245 Gion opened several years ago on Shinmonzen Street, famous as Kyoto’s gallery and antique street. Chef Yoshioka’s dishes became popular soon after the opening. He travels to Europe every year to learn about the latest food and cooking culture. Sometimes he tries new techniques and ingredients combining what he learned in his travels with his cooking skills. His unique and creative dishes are not simply “Italian” any more. For example, the salad which is served as a course appetizer includes about 30 different seasonal vegetables cooked using different methods such as sautéed, marinade, fried, etc. Not only the taste itself but the dish presentation and his service style attracts diners.
