Enjoy fine Western dishes surrounded by a classical Japanese atmosphere

Kamishichiken is the oldest of all the five Kagai districts in Kyoto where geiko and maiko culture still remains near Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine.  The Kaburenjo Theatre, where the Salon Kamishichiken is located, is an official theatre of the district where geiko and maiko perform dances and entertain.  Diners can enjoy delicious Western dishes such as rice omelet, hamburger steak, pork cutlet and more cooked by an experienced chef as well as café menu items, overlooking a fine Japanese garden.  Local geiko (geisha in Kyoto) and maiko (apprentice geiko) often arrive and enjoy their meal and tea here.  In summer, an open-air beer garden opens on the rooftop and is enjoyed by many people every year.  Rice omelet with salad: 900 yen.
