Many local people have long favored Shimogamo Fukusuke as a Kyoto cuisine restaurant especially for dishes using fresh fish. One of their most popular menu items is simmered sea bream. Shimogamo Fukusuke respects the seasonal tastes, for example, crabs and blowfish in winter as well as plenty of locally harvested vegetables.
