Fascinating appetizers and desserts attracting gourmets
The owner and chef of Shuhaku, Nobuhisa Yoshida, learned French cuisine but changed his direction to become a Japanese cuisine chef. Since opening in 2002, he has served dishes wishing to make his customers happy using unique ingredients. One of the attractions of Shuhaku, particularly popular among women, is that they serve the desserts on the wagon. Six to seven different desserts, both Japanese and Western, are available to select from. The appetizers are also sure to catch diners’ eyes and heart with the elegant dish presentation and a wide selection of ingredients from more than 20 different vegetables. Yoshida creates a number of varieties by changing the usual cooking method; stuffing lotus roots with eggs of conger eel, frying Manganji green pepper, etc.. Located by Yasaka Pagoda, Yoshida entertains diners with his unique creations. Both the dinner and lunch course (from 5,000 yen) will surely offer a memorable experience.
