Sushi restaurant famous for its quality, also available for takeaway

On the ground floor of an apartment building in a quiet housing area near Midorogaike Pond, Take Zushi quietly stands.  Highly evaluated by gourmets, this sushi restaurant was started thirty-three years ago by the owner, Takeshi Harada, who originally worked as a head chef for the famous sushi restaurant, Matsu Zushi, located at that time near Kiyamachi Street (now newly located in Nishiki Food Market).  It is wonderful to watch the fish are carefully prepared and transformed into sushi with the sophisticated motion of the owner at the counter table though some regular customers recommend unformed sushi (served in a box or bowl) as well.  Freshly cooked and sliced omelet is put over the vinegary rice.  The fresh seafood of the day selected by the owner beautifully decorates the dish.  The owner’s friendly character is another key attraction of this very special restaurant.
