Famous ryokan for its cuisine using full of seasonal flavor
Kifune Ugenta is one of the oldest ryokan inns in Kifune, which is well known for Kawadoko (river-side terrace) cuisine in summertime. The guestrooms are designed in traditional and modern style that offers a very comfortable accommodation. They serve fresh seasonal food including river fish cuisine. One of the recommended specialties in winter is “Kifune-nabe hot-pot.” Meat of wild boar is cooked in a rich soup that is made from stewing a whole suppo (soft-shell turtle). You will be completely energized by the nutritional nourishment taken into your body.
